This course is set up as an annual membership. This means that when you enroll in Creative Systems Architect, you have access to everything for one year from the date of enrollment. Renewing is optional, and you control your membership from your academy dashboard. Should you choose to stay in the course and community beyond the first year, you are welcome to do so. In fact, many of our students choose to stay enrolled in order to have access to the latest course updates, monthly coaching, and brand new quarterly workshops. Having continuous help with your business systems and operations is a huge benefit, and will help you scale faster over time.
02. How do payments work?
02. HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK?
Your payment will be due either annually (if you choose the "Pay in Full" option), or monthly (if you choose the "Pay Over Time" option). You are obligated to pay for the course content in full during year one (through either plan). In other words, once you are beyond the 14-day "try us" guarantee, our payment plan is not cancellable until you have completed year one (12 payments). It is offered as a courtesy option only to make payments easier on the budget. On our "Pay in Full" option, you are only obligated to pay once. Cancellations are possible after year one.

No, not at all. If you are a business owner, you need systems and we start from the absolute basics, so that everyone can keep up. If you watch the modules and do the work, you will learn everything you need to understand how systems and operations are supposed to work. We are confident that you will learn more than enough to make enrollment worth your investment.

This course does not teach you one specific system. It teaches the foundations of systems and operations as well as how to make the correct decisions on what those might be for your business. What systems you need depend on so many things, including your business model, offer suite, team size, and so on. There is no one-size-fits-all solution out there, so you have to create your own digital universe. In this course, we show you how to do that. While I will show you what I use and how I use it, you are under no obligation to use the same solutions. We have many students in this course who use different solutions, and all of them are successful. We show you how to select the right solutions, how to connect them to each other, how to implement them, and leverage them to their fullest potential, so that you can succeed faster.
05. Do you cover my specific system?

This course does not teach you one specific system. It teaches the foundations of systems and operations as well as how to make the correct decisions on what those might be for your business. What systems you need depend on so many things, including your business model, offer suite, team size, and so on. There is no one-size-fits-all solution out there, so you have to create your own digital universe. In this course, we show you how to do that. This is a course about how to put the pieces of. your digital universe together, and not about ONE specific system.
That being said, our coaches are experts in using the a wide variety of systems for different purposes, including Notion, Asana, Evernote, Airtable, Forever, ShowIt, Wordpress, Squarespace, Monday, ClickUp, Zapier, IFTT, Dropbox, OneDrive, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Photoshop, Apple Photos, Amazon Photos, Mylio, PhotoMechanic, Teachable, Thinkific, Kajabi, Kartra, Circle, Trafft, Calendly, Dubsado, Acuity, and many more. We can't guarantee that we'll have all the answers on how to set up your specific system, but we will definitely do our best in helping you figure it out.
06. I already have systemS implemented in my business - do I need this?
06. I ALREADY HAVE SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTED IN MY BUSINESS - DO I NEED THIS?
Of course, you already have some systems in place - you're running a business! At the very minimum, you probably have some sort of project management system in place along with some communication and marketing channels. The question is: are you using the right systems? ...and if you answered yes, how do you know that? This course shows you how to evaluate your current systems against what you need, so that you can move forward with confidence. We also show you how to best leverage your systems and set them up for productivity. Even if you are happy with what you currently have, we can always increase efficiency!
07. I am migrating from one system to another - will this course help?
07. I AM MIGRATING FROM ONE SYSTEM TO ANOTHER - WILL THIS COURSE HELP?
Yes, it will. While we don't teach any specific systems, this course will show you how to move from one system to another in an organized way. We have a whole lesson called "Migrating Data Between Systems."
08. I’m trying to better understand my current system - will this help?
08. I’M TRYING TO BETTER UNDERSTAND MY CURRENT SYSTEM - WILL THIS HELP?
It might. While we don't teach specific solutions, you will walk away with a foundational understanding of how systems overall work, both on a macro and micro level. That being said, if you are looking for tutorials on how to use a specific tool, for example Evernote or Dubsado, this course will not provide you with that specifically.
09. Do you teach automation?
09. DO YOU TEACH AUTOMATION?
Yes and no. We teach you how to understand your workflows and how they work, which is the basics of automation. Without understanding your systems and being clear on how they function, you cannot automate anything. You will walk away with an understanding of how automation works and what you need to do to start moving towards that in your own business. However, we do not cover specific scenarios for your specific business in our curriculum. That is beyond the scope of this course. While we can help you create workflows for the purpose of automatation, we cannot guarantee that we can help you implement them. You would have to set them up yourself. You are responsible for all of your own implementation.
10. This seems like a lot of work - is it?
10. THIS SEEMS LIKE A LOT OF WORK - IS IT?
Yes, it is. There's no way to sugarcoat it. Building a business is hard work, and setting up your systems the right way will take some time. However, there is no better use of your time. Without systems in place, you cannot possibly scale beyond six figures. That's just how it works. You will also burn out and waste time and money in the process. You have to decide what level of success you want, and whether or not you are prepare to do what it takes to get there.
11. How long does this take?
11. HOW LONG DOES THIS TAKE?
Unfortunately, that's an impossible question to answer because it depends on so many factors, including your available time, your dedication, your diligence, and your other commitments. We recommend that you set aside at least one hour per week to watch the videos, and an additional two hours to implement what you learn. The more effort you put in upfront, the faster it'll go, but it's normal for students to be with us for the full year. Many students choose to approach this course at a slower pace, but over a longer timeframe, and that is fine too. This is a meaty course with a lot of content, so it's very important to set aside time consistently to work on it, especially if you're a beginner.
12. what if I can't make the coaching calls? Are there replays?
12. WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE THE COACHING CALLS? ARE THERE REPLAYS?
Our monthly coaching calls are generally held on the last Wednesday afternoon (Central US time) of the month, but we have a system set up for you to be able to submit your questions, even if you cannot attend live. We answer all pre-submitted questions first on our calls, and then we provide time-stamped replays, so that you can quickly locate your answer. In between coaching calls, you also have access to community and email support. All coaching call schedules are posted well in advance, so you will have ample time to schedule them into your calendar.
