No, not at all. We start from the absolute basics, so that everyone can keep up. If you watch the modules and do the work, you will learn everything you need to understand how bookending is supposed to work. That is a risk you have to take. The bookending approach has been carefully curated to not be "just another routine," but something to help you accomplish more while feeling more focused every day. If you are open to trying this approach consistently and do the work as outlined, we are confident you will more than make up for your investment.
It's called "bookending" because you have two mini-routines that you perform (before you start working and before you wrap up) that encapsulates your day. They work just like bookends by holding your day together. By outlining your objectives for the day, you stay more focused on finishing those, and by reflecting on the things that threw you off course (if any), you improve for the following day. Over time, this progress leads to incredible productivity and focus.
Yes, it does. The curriculum has been carefully curated over many years with many students testing and proving its validity. If you do the work, you will see the results. Will it solve all your problems? Unlikely. But no mini-course can.
Sure. Liminal space is that transition period between two time periods or events where nothing much happens. For example, if you drive to and from your home and an office every day, that drive time would be an example of liminal space in your life. These transition periods are often a combination of winding up and winding up, and they're what we utilize in this mini-course. We make the most out of the liminal spaces when you're transitions to and from work. This helps you switch hats effectively and more intentionally.
The bookending routines are designed to take you about 15 minutes at the start of your work day, and 15 minutes at the end of your work day. They are not meant to add time to your work day, but rather become built into it. For example, if you work between 9 AM and 4 PM, you would open your day with the opening bookend between 9 AM and 9.15 AM. Similarly, you would close out your day with the closing bookend between 3.45 PM - 4 PM.
There's always a bit of work involved in creating positive change for yourself. There's no way to sugarcoat that part. However, this routine is one of the easiest and least time-consuming changes you can make in your business, so yes, it's worth it.
Unfortunately, that's an impossible question to answer because it depends on so many factors, including your available time, your dedication, your diligence, and your other commitments. We recommend that you set aside about one hour each time you want to watch all the videos, and then an additional 30 minutes each day to implement what you learn. Ideally, you will spend 15 minutes at the start or every work day on your opening bookend, and 15 minutes at the end of your work day on your closing bookend. This is the routine. You spend a little time up front to save a lot of time later.
